I am ready

Ready for a lot of things, really. Ready for seminary to be done for the year, ready to have Ashlyn's lungs back to normal, ready for baby boy, ready to have the terrible 4's to be over, ready to have more energy... But this post is to say that I am ready to have the pregnancy ticker on the blog. I am now under 60 days, so I feel like the baby has progressed and my life is to a point where I am looking forward and excited for this boy to come (even if his head and belly are measuring almost three weeks bigger!).

Don't Drink from the Waterhose and other funnies

At least it was not from the puddles!

Looking a little too confident with those water guns!

I think Kylie knows that she can only go home if she gets the MOST candy.

Ashlyn is much more content looking at/for lizards as long as she gets a massage in the process - aw, the life!

Happy Birthday, David, Daddy, Honey, Dada...

This is coming a week late on the blog, but we did celebrate it on his actual day, May 12th. He got exactly the birthday dinner he requested - ribeye steak, garlic mash potatoes, an all-the-works salad and Mississippi Mud pie; the rest of us had beans and rice. We love you!

A change from the first to the last

On the first day of lessons, Kylie screamed and did not even want to sit on the wet step, but on the last day, she was jumping into the water and solo swimming. She even got a smile + on her listening grade. We tried her skills out this past Saturday...needless to say, we will need to practice a lot this summer.

Dress up

This is normally how dress up goes - Kylie wants to be a princess, Ashlyn is just content with putting on Kylie's clothes.

A new favorite

We love mangoes at our house. We eat them fresh, dried (only the Philippine brand) and now FROZEN. I never thought of freezing mangoes - I will have to do mine own now. These are a perfect treat on a hot, summer day and healthy, too!

fighting coughs, finding joy and food storage

This pretty much summarizes our life the last week. Ashlyn has had a terrible cough that led us to the hospital and which we are still fighting.

Our family enjoyed an hour or so at the beach which the kids LOVED.

And now being quarantined (a bit of an exaggeration) to our home, I am finally able to inventory our food storage - notice Kylie is not finding much joy in assisting.
