She then cried and hung onto me, but she did it. I told the monkey that he should feel special - he is the first character that she has hugged or even come close to. I think it made his day:).

cute, my boys would have loved that! Although Daniel isn't really a fan of characters either....he cries like crazy when ever the cow from Chick-fil-a comes around.
That's funny. None of my kids will even go close to a character of any kind. They wig them right out.
