They are a mess!

How (and why) does she do that to herself?

Man, it has been fun, fun with the two little ones while Kylie is at school. Pictures can't capture what goes on on a day-to-day basis!

Things Ashlyn has been caught doing...

Potty training her baby doll,

Changing her baby doll's diaper,

Feeding Spencer the baby doll's bottle,

Nursing her baby doll and

Putting her baby doll down for a nap.

She's got it down!

Self-Soothing

Well, I guess it is not self soothing, but very cute. Whenever Ashlyn is hurt, crying, sad, whatever the case may be, she goes straight to Spencer and lays him a kiss. It doesn't matter where - his blanket, his sock, his head - and it makes it all better (for more than just Ashlyn).

But, this cute smile can make anything better anytime (even at 2 am).

I do not know...

How any of the many women I know with 3 + children (even 1 child can be difficult) find the time to blog almost everyday!

A friend once told me that with 3 kids the day can go by without you accomplishing anything and I did not believe her (sorry, Jen), but now I do! Not that I do not get anything accomplished, just nothing I want to do. So, how am I ever going to do it with more? I guess we will find out, but not for a very, very, very long time.

Just had to get it out.

I love my family, but...

I really do not like kisses! People wonder how David and I even have children:)

Poor Little Idget

Why do these things happen to our cute little Ashlyn? (who, by the way, asked to sit on the potty today and went #1 and #2!)...Story: We made a short table (from plywood & 5 gallon buckets and covered with a cloth) for Kylie's party and Ashlyn got tripped up and fell right in to the corner of it. You can see the marks of the plywood. But, a few minutes later, you couldn't even tell she was hurt - she was running around with everyone else. She is tough.

And that night she stepped in glass. Poor little girl!

I'm 4 Now! (from the words of Kylie)

Apparently when you are 4, you can do a lot of things that you could not do at 3, like....

Go to school and not cry at all,

Beat the big kids (a little ones, too) in bocce ball

Hold 'baby brother' whenever she wants (so she thinks),

Listen and obey,
Help out with Ashlyn and
Clean her room.
Now, remember, she could not do these things when she was 3 - go figure!

And, mommy's favorite, timeout can now be for 4 minutes instead of 3:).
More reasons why it is great to be 4 to come...
