Children pick up everything. I have been amazed recently at the things that Kylie remembers and how she is really understanding TV shows, movies, etc. - not just watching them.
Monday we were having a family home evening about not partaking of things that are harmful to our bodies specifically tea and coffee. This is a discussion we have never had before with her and I do not think she even knows what these items are. Backing up in time a little, over the weekend, we watched the Bee Movie (a great movie, BTW). In this movie, there is a very short scene where the lady and bee have coffee together. Kylie remembered this and said, "Oh, yeah, last weekend when Daddy rented the Bee Movie and they had 2 cups of coffee. They should not have done that." We were amazed and had to jog our memory of this scene. We were doubly surprised that she could recall this part in the movie when she did not even know what coffee was in the first place. This is just a small example of the everyday things our children do that prove they are taking it all in.

this is so cute about kylie...she's such a cutie!!! don't hate on my blog now--- how can you say you don't like it when Tegan looks so darn cute in that outfit ;) haha.. GO DAWGS!!
